The Forest Green Library is a public library located in North Dallas. The Forest Green Library comprises approximately 20,000 square feet and was constructed in 1973. The library is a one-story structure with a sub-grade basement. The city of Dallas reported that the Meeting Room was identified as the main area of concern and comprises approximately 700 square feet of space including three closet areas, a stage area, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment above the drop-ceiling.

Targus conducted visual observations of the Forest Green Library for moisture intrusion, visible mold growth, or other indications of moisture-related concern and conducted moisture content readings of affected building materials to indicate the potential extent of moisture/ mold affected materials in the building.

Based on the results of the survey, Targus recommended that remediation of areas with more than 25 contiguous square feet of visible mold growth in the Meeting Room be conducted by appropriately trained and licensed individuals.
